She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beatrice Holmes Bromell and Charlie Lewis Bromell; her husband Herbert Russell of New Haven, Connecticut.; and her siblings, Gloria Bromell Tinubu (Soji) of Atlanta, Freddie Bromell (Jacqueline) of New Haven, Marshall Bromell (Gail) of New Haven, Ezekiel Bromell of New Haven, Jeannette Yvonne Scott and Webster Bromell. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
