She is survived by: her son Dean Allen Claggett; her grandchildren, Kendrick Marshall, Brentell Roberson (Jachela Hassan), Ebony, Xavier Smith, Mary Elizabeth, Brent Watkins and Ada Umeugo; her great grandchildren, Ni'Lah and Legend Roberson; her sisters, Lauren Fortune and Phyllis Cowell; her niece Doreen; and her nephew Elliott Fortune.
