She was predeceased by: her parents, Carol Dortche and Gordon Thompson Sr.; and her brothers, Lance Dortche and Alex Dortche. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Smith; her sons, John Marquis Thompson, Kory Allen Thompson and George Flores; her siblings, Gordon Thompson, Russel Dortche, Gordon "Mickey" Thompson, Barri Bolden, Francis Keeton and Wendy Hoyle; and her godchildren, Kaneisha, Ashley Hill, Malik Hoyle and DaAjah Trotman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McClam Funeral Home Chapel (95 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
