With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances M. McCarthy of New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on August 29, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Smith and Madalyne Smith (Wren); and her sister Madeline Boucher. She is survived by: her children, George McCarthy (Trisha) of Wallingford, Beverly Bentley (late Richard) of Old Saybrook and Maureen Kimler (Paul) of Land; and her siblings, Helen Sweeney, Robert Smith and George W. McCarthy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
