He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Nichols and Euphemia Nichols (McDonald); his siblings, Lois Fucci, Muriel Boyd, Ed and Oliver Nichols; and his stepson Kenneth Shea.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Nichols of Terryville, Robin Nichols Bier of Orange and Sheryl Nichols Christman of Pottstown, PA; his sisters, Barbara Hendricks of New Bedford, MA and Dawn Duane Smith of New Bedford, MA; his stepchildren, Debbie Froeberg of North Haven, Tom Shea of Whitefish and Lynda Williams of Sanford, NC; and his friend Sandra. He is also survived by many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
