She is survived by: her children, Sundiata Keitazulu (Stephanie) of New Haven, CT, Paul, Phillip Denby, Carlet Denby Garvin and Jacqueline Denby of Hamden, CT; her siblings, Ronald Brown of Hamden, Lula Woodson, Martha Conyers of New Haven and Mamie Ruth Coleman of Baltimore, MD.; her nephew Maceo Troy Streater; her nieces, Vanessa Moore and Alice Woodson; her godsons, Johnathon Stewart and Marcus Harvin; her husband Reid Denby; her sons, Jimmy L Brown and Reid Stephen Denby; her granddaughter Niya Maynard; and her siblings, David, Donald Brown, Mattie Belle, Helen Durham, Pearline Moore, Mary Galloway and Dorothy McNeil. She is also survived by 51 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
