It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Báez of New Haven, Connecticut, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his parents, Geraldo Báez of Hatillo and Luz Maria Valentín of New Haven; and his siblings, Elsa Báez, Maritza Báez, Greyza Berrios (Angel Maldonado) of New Haven, Denise Báez of East Haven, Gerald Báez (Gladys) of Hamden and Jonathan Báez (Catherine Ponce) of New Haven. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
