He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan D. Cardona and Antonia López; and his daughter Selena Cardona. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Guevars Cardona; his daughters, Iliana Cardona (Clovis Simons) and Dalila Cardona (Jack Burns) of Windsor, CT; his stepchildren, Jacmarileis Dones of New Haven, Roberto, Jean and Robinson Dones of New Haven; his sisters, Frances Ramos (Ralph), Inez Sierra (Elisamuel) of Orlando, FL and Evelyn Cardona of Houston, TX; and his stepgranddaughter Sophia Rodríguez of New Haven. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
