He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Donegan and Mary Donegan (Sullivan); and his siblings, John Donegan and Mary Acunto (Ray Acunto). He is survived by: his wife Karen Paulson Donegan; his son Michael (Becky); his grandchildren, Owen, Molly and Maggie; his daughter Elizabeth Donegan; his grandchildren, Eli Rogatz, Bridget Rogatz, Nina Rogatz and Jillian Rogatz; his daughter Maura Crepeau (Michael); his grandchildren, Ben and Callie; his daughter Ellen; his sister Anne Kraemer; and his sister-in-law Betty Ann Donegan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a board member of the Greater New Haven Community Foundation for 7 years and served as Board Chair for 2 years.
