He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Parillo Proto; his parents, George and Anna Proto Sr.; his daughter Darlene Ann Proto; his daughter-in-law Linda N. Proto; his brother George Jr.; and his granddaughter Jessica L. Proto.

He is survived by: his children, Raymond Joseph Proto (Kristin), Donna Marie Stanley and Denise Mary McNamara; his brothers, Frank, Robert, Christopher and William Proto; and his grandchildren, Bridgges Stanley, Nicholas Proto, Madison Stanley and Jason Proto.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
