It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Duell Sr. of New Haven, Connecticut, born in Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth; his wife Ernestine; his children, Henry Jr. and Linda; his grandchildren, Tyler and Jenica Riley; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Martin, Ruby Jenkins Jeanne Jennings and Joyce Fountain.
As a member of First Baptist, Mr. Duell was active in the Dorcas Sunday School class until his illness and subsequent closure of the church due to COVID.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent to the Duell Family in care of Lea Funeral Home.
