With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Gholston of New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Percy C. Holmes; and her grandparents, Emma Cruise Irving and Archie Irving. She is survived by: her brother Percy C. Holmes Jr.; her daughters, Helene Monique Gholston and Lisa Yvonne Gholston; her grandchildren, Erica Danyelle Gholston (King) of Brandon, L. F, Augustine, Imani Mone Moye and Iyana Simone Moye; her great grandchildren, Tiana Monique Blackwell, London Nevaeh Augustine, Zoey Pearson and Aaliyah Augustine; and her cousins, Irene and Phylis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, sister.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Life Changing Outreach Ministries (30 Montowese Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at the Beaverdale Memorial Park (90 Pine Rock Ave, New Haven, CT 06514).
