She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Barham, Sr. and Rosetta Chatman Barham; her husband William F. Freeman, Sr.; her brother Roscoe Barham, Jr.; her brother-in-law Lawrence Freeman; and her grandson Samuel Spann.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Cochran of New Haven, Connecticut, Rosetta L. Gattison of New Haven, Connecticut, Damonne Y. Jones of New Haven, Connecticut, Stephanie Freeman of New Haven, Connecticut, Florene Spann of New Haven, Connecticut and William F. Freeman, Jr. (Lawanda) of Saginaw, Michigan; and her brothers-in-law, Melvin Freeman (Lee) of Florida and Robert Freeman (Cora) of Virginia. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
