She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph L. Hawkins and Fannie L. Tate; her husband Adolphus Berry Sr.; her daughters, Mildred P Ford and Lilnatta P Berry; and her siblings, Rudolph Hawkins Jr., Odessa Davis and Betty Jean Tate.

She is survived by: her sons, Adolphus H. Berry Jr. (Regina), Charles A Ford Sr. (Linda) and Manual Ford Sr. (Margie); and her sister Lorraine Toliver (Richard). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
