He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Haughton and Bertha Lee Tyson; his sister Dorothy M. Shepard-Green; and his granddaughter Tamara Cates. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Haughton; his sister Geraldine Haynes; his daughters, Renee Haughton, Monica Haughton, Cindy Beth Haughton and Dawn Haughton; his stepchildren, Yolanda Wilson, Bobby Wilson and Tyrone Harvey; his grandchildren, Gerald Robinson, Samara Cates, Tia Haughton, Rashod Haughton and Taniya Gatison; and his great grandchildren, Shamya Cates, Adrian Smith, Amari Haughton, Gerald Robinson Jr., Londyn Robinson and Gecari Robinson.
