It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luz Ayala (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Celestina Lugo and Juan Melendez; her husband Modesto Ayala; and her sisters, Guillermina, Maria, Carmen, Marcelina and Felisa Melendez.

She is survived by : her children, Manuel Ayala (Brooke), Gilberto Ayala (Arisbel), Wilfredo Ayala (Leyla), Jaime Ayala (Olga), Leonardo Ayala (Maria) and Norma Ayala (Luis); and her siblings, Juan Lugo and Iris Melendez. She is also survived by extended family including countless loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
