She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mobley, and Classie Mobley, Sr.; her husband Johnnie Carmon; her siblings, Elder Charlie Mobley, Jr., Marvin Mobley, Tarlon Mobley, Rufus Mobley, Eva Mae Mobley, Pauline Boyd and Clementine Mobley; and her sisters-in-law, Janie Mae Thomas and Shirley Carmon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Carmon of Meriden, CT and Stephanie Carmon of New Haven, CT; her son-in-law Gregory Shaw of New Haven, CT; her sisters, Sarah and Shirley Payton of Winterville, NC; her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Carmon (Marvin) of Hamden, CT, Betty Chase of Ft Lauderdale, FL, Betty Jean Mobley of Winterville, NC, Ollie Vera Mobley of Winterville, NC and Juanita Mobley of Columbus, GA; and her grandchildren, Marquis Denny (Heather) of Winterville, NC, Lakeya Drake (Hakeem) of Hamden, CT, Alfonzo Denny (Judy) of Meriden, CT and Labria Denny of Meriden, CT. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
