Marie Jarmie Caporale Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Jarmie Caporale of New Haven, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Caporale; her brothers, Albert and John Jarmie; and her parents, Albert Jarmie and Margaret Carbone Jarmie.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Sagnella (Jerome) of Guilford, Michael Caporale (Regina) of New Haven, Donna Caporale-Colon (Paul) of New Haven and Karen Popolizio (Aldo) of East Haven; her grandchildren, Anthony Sagnella (Kamila), Christopher Caporale (Jessica), Lisa Puciato (Henry) and Michael Caporale, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Christopher Caporale, Emma, Marc Puciato and Isaac Sagnella; and her caregivers, Gina Rosarbo and Rosa Gerenia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porto Funeral Home (234 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Church (555 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
