She was predeceased by: her parents, Frankie Quamina (Theophilus) and Unica Quamina; and her sibling Selvon 'Rennie Quamina. She is survived by: her child Leron Downes; her grandchild Lynese Downes of Connecticut, USA.; her siblings, Gloria Quamina-Hall, Sharon Quamina, Dr. Wendy Quamina Yorke, Beverly Quamina, Enamae Quamina-Moses, Narda, Gude, Trudy and Andrea Quamina; her nieces and nephews, Roxan Quamina-Dyer (Nicole Hall), Lorraine, Nicholas (Nigel Yorke), Kendall Cuffy, Kenejha (Terrecia Stewart), Brianna (Keshawn Moses), DiAndrea (Ricardo Greenaway) and Sterling Roberts (Zada Quamina); her brothers-in-law, David Yorke, Ricardo Greenaway and Keith Moses; her cousins, Asquith Rollocks, Claudette Bruce, Kurt Bruce, June Solomon, Claudia Quamina (Canada), Gaynour Gonzales Plillip, Boyie Ramsey, Authur Quamina, Marion Hayes and Judy Williams; her godchildren, Rennison Rollocks, Tammy Samuel, Terrance Joseph, Shirleen James and Cameron Browne; her friends, Claudine Vincent, Carol Lyons Brebnor, Caudette Gooding, Auldith De Coteau, Rudolph Gordon, Miriam, Virginia, Vida Guy, Lucille Gordon and Joanne Hannaway; and also Keneise Stewart. She is also survived by her son, granddaughter, sisters, other relatives, friends.
Her educational foundation was at Plymouth Anglican School and furthered at Bishop High School Scarborough, Tobago where she mastered Latin, French and Spanish among her full O' Level Certificate.
