He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Winfrey; and his grandparents, Lottie Poindexter, Charles Clark and MacArthur Winfrey. He is survived by: his mother Dawn Poindexter-Johnson (Lasalle) of Hamden, CT; his children, Latavia Lowe, Malachi Sessions of Branford, CT, Marquis C. Winfrey Jr. of New Haven, CT, Jayquis Winfrey of New Haven, CT, Jeremiah of New Haven, CT and Jacob White of New Haven, CT; his sisters, Nateysha Poindexter of New Haven, CT, Tamara Thomas of North Carolina and Mya Kimbro of Massachusetts; his stepsister Lashalle Johnson of Washington, D. C.; his brothers, Frederick Payne Jr. of New Haven, CT, Andrew Kimbro of Massachusetts, Britt Martin of Hamden, CT, Wilbur House, Bernard, Maurice Byrd of New Haven, CT and Quran Winfrey of Hamden, CT; his stepbrother Lasalle Johnson Jr.; his grandmother Bettie Little; and his great-grandparent Addie Green of New Haven. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
