It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lucky (New Haven, Connecticut), born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Waitus Lucky and Gladys Mae Lucky; and her siblings, Benzenia Lucky Cox, Leroy John Lucky and Lizzie Mae Bacote.
She is survived by: her child Backgammon; her former husband Ray Campbell; her sisters, Aurelia Elder (James), Virginia Hodges, Maryann Thomas (Norman), Ida Mae Amos and Bessie Gilbert (Bobby); and her daughter Theresa Ervin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
