He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Pullen and Bettye Pullen; and his siblings, Claytea Alston (late John Henry), Leon Pullen of Littleton, NC and Bobbie Pullen (late Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Sula Draughn Pullen; his children, Melvin Pullen Jr. (Monica), Melody Pullen and Curtis Hill (Norma); his stepson Richard Cowes of West Haven, CT; his grandchildren, Kristina, Leila Pullen of Lititz, PA, Curtis Jr. and Crystal Hill of Hamden, CT.; and his siblings, Georgia Brunson (Walter), Kapana Wallace (late Coleman), Velma Bert (Ned), John Pullen (Frances) and Ollie Pullen Jr. (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
Due to the Covid virus, we will hold off on his celebration of life to a later date.
