He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ross and Dorothy Ross (Johnson); and his sister D. Christine Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Thomas of New Britain, CT, Michael Ross Jr. of New Haven, CT., Theodosia Ross of New Haven, CT. and Annalise Ross of New Haven, CT.; his sisters, Robin Ross Ofori-Kyere (Prince) of Meriden, CT and Dawn Ross-Gaunichaux of Rockmart, GA.; his granddaughter Scarlett Thomas; and his close friend Darlene Lily.
