He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edward Thorpe, Sr. and Addie Thorpe of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Rita Thorpe; and his siblings, Louis Edward Thorpe, Jr. (Wanda) and Linda Thorpe (Stanley Welch). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
