We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2021, at the age of 97, Reather Kinsey (New Haven, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Easton Hollaway and Starrie Hollaway; her husband Preston Kinsey Sr.; her children, Johnnie Kinsey, Sylvester Kinsey and Linda Kinsey-Davis; her grandson Leroy Davis Jr.; and her siblings, Annie Taylor, Marie Jones, Attley Coward, James, Oliver, Roosevelt, Hiland and Saunder Boomer.
She is survived by: her sons, Dalma Artis Kinsey (Betty) and James Kinsey of Hamden, CT.; her sisters, Thanie Clark of New Haven, CT, Vicie Gates of Satellite Beach, FL and Rev. Bennie Gates of Satellite Beach, FL.; her sisters-in-law, Hazel Wright (Robert) of New Haven, CT and Crystal-Bell Kinsey of Arapahoe, NC.; her cousin Herbert Pearson; and her friend Malinda. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins' and a host of family and friends.
