It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sophie Green (New Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert James Green; her sister Lila; her brother-in-law Ernest Evans; her nephew Ernest Evans, Jr.; and her parents, Andrew J. Morgan and Mamie S. Morgan (Butler).
She is survived by: her children, Edwinna Adele Wells, Mackinnon Thompson (Lauren), Keith Thompson (Karol) and Kimberly Luke (Nigel). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three nieces, a nephew, and many beloved cousins and friends.
