He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas and Edna. He is survived by : his wife Marge Piontek (Woedtke); his children, Thomas Piontek (Sue) of Florida, Marguerite Lynch (Michael) of East Haven, Sandra Bowden of New Haven and Patricia Andrade (Scott) of Branford; and his sister Barbara Racette (Paul) of Branford. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
