We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2021, at the age of 85, Wilbert Sims (New Haven, Connecticut), born in Newton, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glover Sims and Eloise Mapp Sims; and his siblings, Woodrow, Willie Lee, John Sims and Rachael Mae Blakely.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Sims (Cecile), Lucia Sims, Deborah Morgan, Shannon Murray (Sam), Michael Roberts (Tanya) and Lisa Roberts; and his brothers, Elbert Sims and Wilbur Sims. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
