She was predeceased by : her parents, Hilmon Wright and Bessie Lee Wright of Henderson, NC.; her former life partner Lorenzo Jones; her uncle Lorenzo; her husband Harold; and her siblings, William, Hilmon, Mary Lou, George Daniel, Annie Bell, Joe Samuel, Melvin Lee, Robert Edward, Martha Etta, Bessie Mae, Shirley Jean, Issaih and Betty Jane.
She is survived by : her friend Anne Porter (Alice); her daughter Venessa Jones (Alice) of New London, CT; her grandsons, Antione Jones and James Jones; her great grandchildren, DeVante'Jones, Wizdom Jones and Niamoni Jones; her great great grandchild Londyn Jones; her sister Rebecca Rose Wright; her cousins, Edith, Viola, Truella Wright, Eddie and Dorothy; her grandchildren, Nefertiti, Adrian, Tz'iah and Ezekiel; and also Perry Johnson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
