It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ray Bucknam Sr. of New Milford, Connecticut, born in Machias, Maine, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father William Bucknam; his former life partner Phyllis Shain; his granddaughter Jennifer Dineen; his former life partner Jane Dineen Struzinsky; his daughter Kathryn Bucknam Corey; and his wife Dottie Woodall Bucknam.
He is survived by : his children, Nancy B. Dineen (Paul), Bill Bucknam (Yoli) and Ray Bucknam, Jr. (Cheryl); his son-in-law Jay Corey; his sons, Dan Bucknam (Roseanne) and Steve Bucknam (Lynn); his grandchildren, Tim Dineen (Tami), Nicole Durand, Kristina Corey Lough (Eric), Lauren Bucknam Gereg (Conor), Brian Bucknam, Sarah Bucknam, Mark Bucknam, Alex Corey, Andrea Bucknam, Allison Corey and Eric Bucknam; his great grandchildren, Elijah Dineen, Devin Dineen, Jameson Dineen, Hailey Durand, Cooper Lough, Kyle Gereg and Patrick Gereg; and his sister-in-law Kathy Hyland. He is also survived by his four stepchildren.
