It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome Rekart of Newtown, Connecticut, who passed away on June 30, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alexander Edward and Laura Ann Rekart. He is survived by : his wife Mary-Louise Nancy Rekart (Chapin); his daughter Emilie Lynch (Andrew); his granddaughters, Eleanor and Caroline; his son Paul Rekart (Abby Stutsman) of Saint Louis; and his sister Karen-Ann Obrecht (Ken) of Saint Louis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Homes for our Troops (hfotusa.org) or Steven Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation (tunnel2towers.org).
