It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johanna W. Metzker of Newtown, Connecticut, born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter J. Sr. Walker and Ada Walker (Tulipani); and her son Paul M. Metzker Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Karin Mele (Ron) of North Haven and Stephen Metzker (Katie) of Newtown; her brother Walter J. Walker Jr. (Carol) of Waterbury; and her grandchildren, Anna, Emily, Erich of Newtown and Michael of North Haven.
