He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Albert Duenkel and Bernice Duenkel (Pniewski); his wife Marcia Duenkel (Blossom); his daughters, Kate Gustavson (Vincent) of Branford and Emily Duenkel of North Branford; his grandchildren, Vincent Gustavson of Branford, Jocelyn Gustavson of Branford and Henry Gustavson of Branford; his mother-in-law Elaine Blossom; and his siblings, Paul Duenkel of Clinton, Judi Becker (Fred) of Saratoga, CA, Conrad Duenkel (Elizabeth) of New Haven, Albert Duenkel Jr. and Edmund Duenkel. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
