Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorothy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Maynard; and her parents, John Bartkiewicz and Emily Bartkiewicz. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Maynard of North Grosvenordale, CT, Kim Aucoin (Scott) of Dudley, MA and Corey Maynard (Maryann) of Northbridge, MA; and her brother John "Jack" Bartkiewicz.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valade Funeral Home (23 Main St, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Church (18 Main St, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255).
