Leon G. Blain Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon G. Blain of North Grosvenordale, Connecticut, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leon G. Blain to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaston Blain and Lillian Blain (Laurion); his sister Dolores Ware; and his brother-in-law William R. Ware, Jr.. He is survived by: his niece Lynda Nedzweckas (Peter) of North Grosvenordale; his nephews, Kenneth M. Ware (Maria) of South Carolina, George W. Ware (Jessica) of North Grosvenordale and David R. Ware (Michelle) of Bozrah; and his close friends, Lucille Paquette, Darcy and Kent Davey. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Valade Funeral Home (23 Main St, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Joseph Church (18 Main St, North Grosvenor Dale, CT 06255).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Keep Leon's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
