He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher Sullivan. He is survived by: his children, Gregory M. Sullivan (Meghan) of Shelburne, VT, Julie K. Sullivan of Chelsea, MA, Thomas R. Sullivan of Wethersfield and Robert K. Sullivan of Hamden; his siblings, Scott Sullivan of New Haven, Timothy Sullivan of Hamden and Maryann Noniewicz (Tom) of Madison; and his former wife Katherine McNulty Sullivan. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
