She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lagana and Rose Cenci Lagana; her son Terry Backer; and her granddaughter Arian. She is survived by: her children, James Backer (Diana) of Lowell, VT, Kathy Patchen (Richard) of Cave Creek, AZ and Cheryl Backer McNeill of Norwalk; and her grandchildren, Vickie, Jessica, Luke, Jacob, Christopher, Barbara, Tracie, Adam, Megan and Mackenzie. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter.
