With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara Joan Edwards (Norwich, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Barbara Joan left this world on April 19, 2024 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband John L. Edwards; her parents, Bernard Gulomb and Martha Gulomb (Michaud); her sister Norma Gulomb; her children, Bernard J. Edwards (Christine) of Cypress, TX, Gary V. Edwards (Katie) of Bensalem, PA and Kari Slattberg of Norwich, CT.; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jonathan, Vivian Edwards, Jacqueline Dubois-Harrison, Kalvin and Ingrid Thibodeau; and her great grandchildren, Bennett and Johanna Harrison.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church and Allen Funeral Home (136 Sachem St, Norwich, CT 06360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (815 Boswell Ave, Norwich, CT 06360).
