We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2020, at the age of 95, Eileen McDermott of Norwich, Connecticut, born in Yonkers, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Arthur Daly and Julia Daly (McCarthy); her husband Francis J. "Mac" McDermott; her children, Francis McDermott (Susan), Brian McDermott of Rutland, VT, Dennis McDermott (Carolyn) of East Calais, VT, Bob McDermott (Terri) of Gales Ferry, Thomas McDermott and Colleen Depasse (Gari) of Brooklyn; her grandchildren, Joseph, Lynn McDermott, Brian McDermott, Jr. (Megan), Kyle McDermott, Ian McDermott (Sara), Cailey Wilkens (Andre), Eric McDermott (Sarah) of Ledyard, Erin Bettini (Armando) of Preston, Meghan Payne (Tim) of Old Saybrook, Ryan McDermott of West Hartford, Justin Depasse (Wendy) and Allison Silver (Jeff) of Brooklyn; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Tyler, Nicholas, Connor, Mason, Emma, Hanna, Samuel, Harper, Addison, Lea, Liam, Grace, Jillian and Dilse; and her granddaughter Kerry McDermott. She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
