He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Fonseca and Felicidade Fonseca (Joaquina); and his siblings, Manuel Fonseca and Maria Joaquina. He is survived by: his wife Lucia Graca (Antunes) of Oakville; his daughters, Helena Fonseca of Oakville, CT and Madalena Simoes (Pedro) of Oakville, CT; his grandsons, Christopher and Andy Simoes; and his sisters, Rosaria Joaquina of Freixianda, Portugal. and Conceicao Fonseca of Freixianda, Portugal..
