We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Stephen H. Lafreniere of Oakville, Connecticut, born in Watertown, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeluse Lafreniere and Eva Lafreniere (Roberts); and his brothers, Maurice Lafreniere and Rene Lafreniere. He is survived by: his wife Antonietta Lafreniere (Addona) of Oakville; his children, Jason Lafreniere (Bryan Croteau) of Granby, CT and Danielle J. Valunas (Jason) of Torrington; his grandsons, Joshua Valunas of Burlington, VT and Jackson Valunas of Torrington; his siblings, Jacqueline Wheelahan of Watertown, Paulette Lackey Halfpenny, Lawrence LaFreniere (Sylvia) of Terryville and Linda Serra Dayton of Watertown; and his sister-in-law Angelina Bradley (Charles) of Oakville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Church (16 Buckingham St, Watertown, CT 06779). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (669 Platt Rd, Watertown, CT 06795).
