It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Mellon of Oakville, Connecticut, born in Sinclair, Maine, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband William J. Mellon Jr. Mrs; her parents, Erny Ouellette and Lillian Ouellette (Chasse); her children, William J. Mellon III and Sharon Mariano; and her siblings, Edward Ouellette, Raymond Ouellette, Joseph R. Ouellette, Regina "Tina" Mannello and Jeanine Mauro.

She is survived by : her son Donald E. Mellon (Colleen M.) of Daleville, AL; her children-in-law, Ruth Mellon of Murrells Inlet, SC and Michael Mariano; her siblings, Rita Dest (Frank), Jacqueline Olmstead, Henry Ouellette (Judy) and John Paul Ouellette; and her sister-in-law Karen Ouellette. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
