He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Teixeira and Dorothy Teixeira (Costa); his sister Judith Adcock; his parents-in-law, George and Lillian Roderick; and his pet Penny.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Teixeira (Roderick); his children, Melissa Lestinsky (Randy) of Pawcatuck and Allan Teixeira, Jr. (Sarah) of Westerly; his grandchildren, Morgan, Jordan and Kylie; his siblings, Billy Teixeira (Sharon) of Stonington and Lynne Whitney (Jim) of Preston; and his sisters-in-law, Georgia Crowley (Michael), Luann Kupka (Ron), Sharon Mellow (Jay) and Donna Green (Bruce).
