Koumanelis (Pawcatuck, Connecticut), born in Westerly, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smyrniotes and Alexandria Smyrniotes (Tsacona); her husband Vasilios "Bill" Koumanelis; and her sisters, Antoinette, Mary, Julia Smyrniotes and Eva Sculco.
She is survived by: her son Alexander (Judith); her grandsons, Nathan and Neil; her sister Nikki Brennan of Pawcatuck; and her nieces, Victoria Morin (Will) of Middletown, RI and Diane Brennan of Pawcatuck.
