She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson L. Carpenter and Nina M. Carpenter (Sackett); and her brothers, Paul, Bruce and Nelson Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, James V. Maffio of Uncasville, Roger Simpson and Debra Breton of Danielson.
