He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Irons (Peloquin); his parents, Edwin F. Irons and Hazel Irons (Dexter); and his sisters, Marsha and Virginia.

He is survived by: his sons, Christopher (Susan Irons), Greg (Lacey Irons), Lyme and Travis (Danna Irons); his brother Wayne Irons of Moosup; and his great grandchild Jett.
