He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Merlo and Maria Merlo (Santanda). He is survived by: the mother of his children Joyce Merlo; his children, Sherrie Audette of Thompson, Lauren and Daniel Merlo of Eastford; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin Audette, Ivan, Nathan Merlo and Kassidy Stewart; and his great grandchildren, Kiley and Brendan Audette.
