He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis F. Lombardy and Catherine Lombardy (Weiner); his wife Caroline Meidl Lombardy; his daughter Mary Lombardy; and his siblings, Robert, William Lombardy, Frances Melvin and Loretta Walker.

He is survived by : his daughters, Lou Ann Gainey of Plainfield, Teresa Riley of Canterbury and Melani Hayes of Dayville; his stepchildren, Marie Fitzpatrick of Willimantic and Michael Hoenig of Oneco; and his siblings, Richard Lombardi of Maryland and Betty Quimby of Ohio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
