She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph Battista; her brothers, Frank Battista and Joseph Battista (Debbie) of Bristol; and her friend Carol Berger. She is survived by: her spouse Peter; her parent Anna Battista (Spinelli); her children, John (Kathy) of Niantic, Susan Cellino (Gregory Jacques) of Plainville and Donna Cavallaro (Christopher) of Plainville; her grandchildren, Peter Cellino, Kacie Shiel (Christopher) and Jesse Cavallaro; her significant other Mary Maynard; her great grandchild Penelope "Poppy" Shiel; and also, Nicholas Cavallaro, Rachel Kulas, Christina Cavallaro and Mei-Li Cellino-Jacques.
In lieu of flowers, Nonnie may be remembered with contributions to her favorite charity the Plainville Family Resource Network (a local non-profit organization supporting the educational development of children ages birth to five), 69 Linden St., Plainville, CT 06062.
