She was predeceased by: her parents, Meyer Bess and Rebecca Bess (Shore). She is survived by: her husband Louis Kugell; her daughters, Sharon Silver (Thomas Marmelstein) of Deep River, Joanne (Michael Marino) of Newington and Lori Spector (Gary Newhart) of Bridgeport; her brother David Bess (Carol Reich) of West Hartford; her grandchildren, Zachary Cohen (Patricia Salcedo), Allison Marino, Danielle Marino and Jonah Spector; and her sister-in-law Adrienne Bletchman of Avon.
